However, June or July of 2019 seems a bit difficult as the shooting has recently completed and it would take time get the show on air. We might see the second season a bit later than we expected, except in a case where the makers do double shifts to stay on the schedule. Piper was released from jail in the last season, which was happy news for Orange Is The New Black Freaks. But many were worried whether it will make the next season as interesting as it always has been. I am pretty much sure it will be compelling as it would be a treat to see Piper adjusting in the real-life conditions. Furthermore, we would see the future of other jail members too! Coming on to the point, the update has not been announced yet, but this year, it might delay. The shooting has recently completed, and it might not make it on the Television on its on its usual June or July slot. But still, that is what we are predicting, the official statement is yet to be made.
Moving on to the seventh season being the last, it is a confirmed bitter truth. However, Lionsgate TV Group Chairman Kevin Beggs had made a statement which might evince a potential sequel. He said, “Keep in mind we own that series and will be distributing it for years to come. We’re already in discussions and, when the timing is right, we’ll talk further with Jenji (Kohan, writer of OITNB) about a potential sequel.”
