Nature lovers should rejoice as BBC unveiled its new adventure in the form of five new natural history shows which will be part of its planet. The upcoming shows include Planet Earth III, One Planet Seven Worlds, Green Planet, Perfect Planet, and Frozen Planet II.
Fans will see David Attenborough present One Planet: Seven Worlds and will explore the seven continents of the world and their wildlife. This would be a seven-part series which will start airing following this month. After a very successful Planet Earth series in 2006 BBC is all into making nature documentary revealing hidden gems on our planet.
One Planet Seven World trailer here shows how in-depth and impressive this forthcoming series will be. One Planet Seven Worlds is a small part of the significant initiative by BBC and is commissioned under a project called Protecting Our Planet. Naturally, the BBC has commissioned many more following documentaries that examine the natural environment and mankind’s detrimental impact on it.
Following the same concept, we would have Green Planet, which is scheduled for 2021, which will highlight emotional stories and hidden heroes of our planet who are trying their best to keep nature perfect. Later we should expect Perfect Planet, which will be released in 2020 and will fuse natural history and earth sciences, while the next upcoming show Frozen Planet II will dig deep Arctic and Antarctica. The third season of Planet Earth will be premiered by BBC in 2022.
