It seems that it has been a very long time since we heard any news related to Pantheon Rise of the Fallen. Patheon Rise of the Fallen has been labeled by many to be the successor of some classic MMORPGs such as Vanguard: Saga of Heroes and EverQuest. It has been reported that the game will have at least one PvP server at launch. Also, the game will have a PvE design. The game is focused on challenging content, and it lays stress of the social aspects of the game which includes grouping and guilds, making friends and also earning a reputation.
When you take a look at the gameplay for the game, it is easy to notice that many things of the game are based on MUD games. The character progression is slower than many other modern MMORPGs. The combat of the game is performed by selecting various spells and other abilities.
Pantheon Rise of the Fallen was announced with a Kickstarter campaign. The game raised over $400,000 in support and astonishing this was only 57% of the target. So, the campaign was unsuccessful. Visionary Realms then turned to crowdfunding, and it currently sells pledges for the game.
The game has been in pre-alpha since December 13, 2017. Back at PAX East 2018, an announcement was related to Patheon, and it stated that the game would be in alpha by the end of the year. However, in August 2018, it was confirmed by Visionary Realms that the game would be delayed so as to up the game’s quality.
There have been no reports about the game’s release in the recent days. However, we can expect that to change in the upcoming weeks. We might just get the pre-alpha sometime this year.
The game is set in the world of Terminus. Terminus is a world full of fantasy, and it is a very unique land which is made up of different realms and times.
