The Japanese anime series Dr. Stone will be returning with Dr. Stone Season 2, and according to the latest updates, the production on the imminent season has finally resumed. What is the Plot of Dr. Stone Season 2? Is there any Trailer for it?
The story of Dr. Stone is quite unique and it brings an air of freshness in as it tries to capture the state of mind and behavior of humanity amidst a strange age where petrification ruined everything. The story is set in 5738 A.D, and nearly 3,700 years ago, a mysterious light appeared which petrified the most of humanity, however, leaving few who later went on to create a new civilization amidst the crisis. It follows the life of a 16-year old genius named Senkū Ishigami who suddenly revived, and to his utter shock, most of the creatures were turned into stone. He then decides to set up a camp and study stone-turned humans to find the answer to the mystery and a cure to revert everything back to normal.
The show was quite a hit, and with high positive responses, it was evident that Dr. Stone will make its return with its second season, however, due to the COVID-19, all productions were stopped, which created an issue with the normal schedule but, according to the latest Dr. Stone will return in next year, and fans cant wait to see Senkū back in action.
Dr. Stone Season 2 will focus on the later part of Stone wars arc story in which Senkū will lock horns with Tsukasa Shishio, and put an end to his crazy plan of getting the world free of adults.
