Previously on One Piece Chapter 985
The Scabbards and Izo find Kanjuro, who reveals that Momonosuke was trying to escape from him. Kikunojo engages in battle with Kanjuro. The Scabbards and Izo fight with Kanjuro forces. Yamato and Luffy are inside the ceiling, Yamato told Luffy that She wants to be free and live with Luffy’s ship to start a new life. Meanwhile, Kaido starts with his speech about the New Onigashima Project. Big Mom enters the festival. Big Mom said that she has managed to control Zeus, Nami, and Carrot.
Kaido and Big Mom secretly plan how they are going to get the One Piece. Their plan includes taking over Wano and Kaido has to prepare for Orochi’s execution. He will also announce to everyone that his son will be the next shogun. Luffy and Yamato fall from the ceiling, and Yamato becomes angry from hearing what Kaido is plaining with Big Mom.
The New Onigashima Project
-The Scabbards and Izo face Kanjuro at the back entrance.
-A flashback of Momonosuke trying to escape from Kanjuro is shown.
-Kikunojo fights Kanjuro.
-Inuarashi’s leg is replaced with a sword.
-Kaido has been keeping Yamato prisoner since she was a child and her handcuffs -prevent her from leaving Onigashima.
-Yamato expresses her feeling to leave Wano with Luffy’s crew.
-Big Mom arrives at the live stage.
-Big Mom is shown to have captured Zeus and control Nami and Carrot.
-Kaido explains more details about the New Onigashima Project.
-Kaido and Big Mom execute a plan to find the Ancient Weapons and the One Piece.
-Kaido also plans to move his base to the Flower Capital and transform Wano into a –pirate nation with Yamato as new shogun.
-All Wano citizens will be enslaved to increase the production of weaponry.
-Kaido also plans for Orochi’s execution when he disagrees with the plan.
