The official website for the anime adaptation of Rikito Nakamura and Yukiko Nozawa’s manga “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” has released a character promotional video for Nano Eiai, a smart and captivating character with an air of aloofness, along with the video is a fresh visual, giving us a sneak-peak into her character design. Set to debut on October 8, the anime will premiere on Tokyo MX and various other broadcasting stations.
The narrative unfolds following our protagonist as he navigates the ups and downs of relationships. The twist? It’s not the complexities of just one relationship but a hundred of them. The upcoming rom-com mixes in a bowl a ranging emotions, humor, and unseen twists, to give us a delicious and satisfactory meal.
The supporting cast, or the 100 girlfriends, adds more to the story, with a number of different quirky and relatable characters who impact Rentarou’s life in unexpected and hilarious ways. As fans anticipate the anime’s premiere on October 8, the creative staff treated us to a glimpse of the characters through new a promotional video and visual.

All About “The 100 Girlfriends”
Hikaru Sato takes the director’s seat for the anime adaptation of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You, which is produced by Bibury Animation Studio. Takashi Aoshima handles series composition, Akane Yano is in charge of character design, and Shuhei Mutsuki, Shunsuke Takizawa, and Eba compose the music, with Lantis producing it.
Two other character videos and visuals were recently released, namely for Karane Inda and Shizuka Yoshimoto.
Other staff members include Akihito Ougiyama as art director, Aiko Matsuyama as a color designer, Naomi Shima as photography director, Mutsumi Takemiya as editor, Masanori Tsuchiya as sound director, Bushiroad Move as sound producer, and finally, Katsuhiro Nakajima handles sound effects.
The cast of the anime includes Wataru Katō voicing Rentaro Aijo, Kaede Hondo voicing Hakari Hanazono, and Miyu Tomita voicing Karane Inda. The new cast includes Maria Naganawa voicing Shizuka Yoshimoto, Asami Seto voicing Nano Eiai, Ayaka Asai voicing Kusuri Yakuzen, and Shigeru Chiba as God (Kami-sama).
The Plot
Meet Aijo Rentaro, a guy who cannot strike luck in his romantic life, even if his life depended on it. Rejected by a hundred girls, he’s hanging on a thread, but when he goes to a shrine to pray for a girlfriend, God tells him a cosmic error caused him to get rejected by all the women he asked out.
God isn’t cruel. He grants Aijo one hundred dates, but the twist? If he doesn’t reciprocate their feelings, “they’ll die in horrible accidents.” Now, confessions start to rain as girls pour their hearts out to Aijo.
What’s the problem? He can’t choose between the girls and certainly doesn’t want anyone to die! As lightning strikes with every potential soulmate, Aijo wonders: can one person truly love a hundred others?
