NBA 2K21 is around the corner, and it’s time that fans get their hands on the demo version to get all the juicy details and deep first-hand impressions before having to buy the actual game.
The NBA Prelude is the version that gamers all around the world wait for as it gives them a chance to interact with the game and get the action bere actual launch. Its also a strategy to get players hooked into the game by giving them actual gameplay so they turn into customers, while long-time players use it to analyze and get an idea of what the actual game will put on the table.
The NBA demo version will be released today (on 24th September 2020), and according to the latest updates, the demo will be available for Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. The demo will go live at 3 pm BST or 7 am PT in the US, and it will be available on Xbox Store, PlayStation Store, and Nintendo eShop for the respective consoles. The official statement from 2k reads “You’ll have the opportunity to check out how the game plays for yourself when we release the NBA 2K21 demo on 24th August 2020.’
They have also revealed that 2K21 has received a similar update like the last year’s signature dribble styles upgrade, and this time it has been implemented onto the defensive end with defensive signature styles. Also, they have made several improvements in the movement section thereby giving ‘more responsive and consistent feel on the sticks.’
Apart from all these, there are also speculations that 2K will provide a separate demo with more enhancements for the next-gen consoles, Xbox Series X and PS5. Also, the entire collection and progress of NBA 2K21 MyTEAM experience on the current-gen consoles will be carried over to the next-gen game when it launches that means, that, players will be able to access all of their hard-earned cards, MyTEAM Points, Tokens, progress in Domination / Triple threat, and etc. However, there is one catch, players will have to have the same accounts access the current and the next-gen consoles (i.e. PS4 to PS5, Xbox One to Xbox Series X with the same account on both devices).
