Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2 is almost upon us now, and we’re just two a day and a half away from its release on HBO now. Right now, everyone is probably wondering what the next episode is going to be about because let’s be fair, HBO has made it hard for us to guess this year.
We don’t even know the titles of the episode until they air. The first episode was titled ‘Winterfell,’ and that was a fitting name in my opinion. But, the episodes from here on will not be as happy and easy-going as the first one. We expect a lot of action in the next episode, and thankfully, HBO has released a set of images that are helping us figure out what’s going to happen. So, shall we take a look?
The first set of images shows Sam, Gilly and baby Sam sleeping. This could be before the final battle, and they could very well be preparing for their last night in the world. Jon is seen planning with Arya at her side. I don’t know what sort of counsel she’ll provide, but hopefully, it’s better than what Sansa can usually come up with.
Jaime Lannister is seen in the Great Hall at Winterfell, where Petyr Baelish died. He would be worried, but more importantly, he’s being tried for something. Meanwhile, Bran is in the Godswood again, and this certainly means that he’s heading out after seeing Jaime Lannister again.
Daenerys and Jon have both changed their attire. Dany is with her counselors, and is planning, just like Jon. Sam and Bran are starting at Jon. This is certainly implying that they want Jon to tell Daenerys about him being Aegon Targaryen. Next, we see Lyanna Mormont of Bear Islands in full armor. She did say she was going to fight for the North and it looks like she wasn’t joking. The next section is mainly about Davos cooking some stew, and Sansa trying it.
Finally, Greyworm and Missandei talk to each other before Grey Work steps out in battle, and after that, we see Tyrion Lannister drinking casually with his brother Jaime Lannister. Of course, Jaime isn’t visible, but the hilt of Widow’s Wail can be seen.
We’re very excited for Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2, and we think you might be as well. Let me know your thoughts on the episode in the comments section below!
