In this post, we are going to talk about The 100 season 6 update, cast, and details. As we know, the show completed its fifth season last year, in August 2018. Fans were very excited to see the fifth season, but they got even more excited for the sixth season after completing the fifth season. So, will there be a sixth season?
The short answer is Yes! There will be a sixth season, which was confirmed by Mark Pedowitz, President of The CW. Fans were worried whether there would be a sixth season or not, but Pedowitz even said that there is a potential of a seventh season of The 100. But another question which is being insanely popular, when will the next season release?
The sixth season of the show is slated to be released on April 30, 2019. The previous two seasons were released in January and February. The series is based on the novels of the same name by Kass Morgan.
Furthermore, there is no information about the episode count of the show. Nonetheless, we can expect the same number of episodes as the previous season, which was 13! Moving on to the cast, there were no major deaths in the fifth season! Thus, we can expect that the majority of the core cast is supposed to return.
Eliza Taylor will play the lead role of Clarke Griffin, and Marie Avgeropoulos will play Octavia Blake. Also, Bob Morley will return as Bellamy Blake and Christopher Larkin as Monty Green. Additionally, Henry Ian Cusick and Isaiah Washington will also return, playing Marcus Kane and Thelonious Jaha.
As The 100 Season 6 is heading closer, we also know now that the show is getting renewed for its seventh season as well. It is being widely reported that the seventh season of the show will be the last one as well. While we don’t have any official confirmation on this, we do think that this is likely to happen.
Also here is something you should keep in mind, the first photos of The 100 Season 6 reveal that only Bellamy, Clarke, Murphy, Echo, Emori, Jackson, Miller, And Shaw are awake and they will be the explorers of the new planet.
Rothenberg also revealed that it will take a while before the other survivors awake from cryo-sleep. On the other hand, Bellamy and Clarke will be leading the group again, and they will be on the same page, unlike before.
