The upcoming reboot is described as a “reimagining and a spinning-off of the franchise.” The chairman of Lionsgate, Joe Drake revealed that the team was completely sold to Chris’ new vision and plot of the twisted horror film. The writers of Jigsaw, Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger have returned for this film, and it is being hinted, the upcoming movie might be linked to 2017’s Jigsaw in some way or another. The production is yet to begin, however, sources predict that fans might get a little sneak peek later this Halloween.
