Fans of the hit 2017 movie are on tenterhooks as this week at any moment the makers may reveal the first-look of Pennywise horror sequel. It supposed to be arriving “any day now” for two major reasons, on September 8, 2017 “IT” part 1 aired, and the first trailer dropped on March 29. The two major reasons that I’ll give you are coherent and only logical. The first has to do with strict timing pattern and the second with the author of IT, Stephen King.
So if Chapter 2 is supposed to release in the later part of the year, it’s only logical that the trailer should drop anytime soon. The other reason has to do with the release of Stephen King inspired horror movie Pet Sematary which will be released in cinemas on April 5. This will bring the target audience for “It 2′. If the trailer drops at the start of April, it is primed to be added to the trailers for Pet Sematary in theatres.
IT went on to become a smash hit of 2017, made just on a $35 million budget, it grossed an impressive $700 million worldwide. Chapter 2 is coming out in September of 2019 and the expectation are sky high already. We can take a few guesses as far as the plot is concerned. The official casting for Chapter 2 has also been revealed. IT 2 boasts of an A-lister cast, James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain are part of the film. Jessica Chastain has called it the bloodiest sequence of all horror movies. Below is the detailed star-cast:
Jessica Chastain as Beverly Marsh
James McAvoy as Bill Denbrough
Bill Hader as Richie Tozier
Bill Skarsgård as It
James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak
Andy Bean as Stanley Uris.
The plot of IT Chapter 2 which releases in Russia on September 5, 2019, is that 27 years later, Pennywise returns to torment now grown-up members of the Losers’ Club. It 1 and 2, both are adapted from Stephen King horror novel It (1986). It Chapter 2 is directed by Andy Muschietti and written by Gary Dauberman. It Chapter 2 releases in the United States on September 6, 2019. It is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and produced by New Line Cinemas in association with Vertigo Entertainment, Rideback, KatzSmith Productions.
Updated on April 12, 2019:
There has been little to no talk of IT Chapter 2 lately, although we did get to see Muschietti in a bunch of interviews hyping up the movie. Recently, he was quoted saying in an interview that the sequel will be “scarier and more intense” than the original. This gets us really excited about what’s to come. He also asked the adult fans to “bring your adult diapers.” This just tells you what to expect.
We still don’t have any trailer for the movie, but we expect one to drop very soon. Are you looking forward to It Chapter 2? Let me know your thoughts in the comments section!
