Disney has confirmed that Zombies 2 is going to happen after the success of the first movie. The first movie was released back in February 2018. It was watched by almost 13 million viewers and the music videos got 377 million views on DisneyMusicVEVO.
Gary Marsh, president, and chief creative officer, Disney Channels Worldwide, said “Zombies took our worldwide audience of kids and families by storm with its powerful themes and incredible music. We’re thrilled with the work of writers David Light and Joseph Raso and look forward to working again with the immensely talented Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim, as well as our equally talented director, Paul Hoen, to bring a new chapter of Zombies to life.”
There was news that the sequel will begin production in spring 2019. There is no chance that the movie would have come out in 2019. So, it is more likely that Zombies 2 will air on Disney Channel in the United Kingdom and the United States in February 2020.
So far Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim have been confirmed to come back for the sequel. They will reprise their roles as Addison and Zed, respectively. It is very likely that the rest of the main cast will be returning for the sequel. So, we can expect Trevor Tordjman as Bucky, Kylee Russell as Eliza, Kingston Foster as Zoey, Carla Jeffery as Bree and James Godfrey as Bonzo.
The Seabrook High will have to deal with more problems this time around. They will have to deal with a new group— werewolves.
