Bandai Namco released a launch trailer for Tokyo Ghoul: re Call to Exist. According to Bandai’s description, the game is a war for survival between Ghouls and Investigators on the streets of Japan. The game is based on the manga by Ishida Sui and it is actually the first video game of the franchise that will be coming to the West. The game will be reuniting the characters from Tokyo Ghoul Tokyo Ghoul √A, and the Tokyo Ghoul: re series in an action-packed conflict between man and ghoul with co-op and single-player battles.
Tokyo Ghoul: re Call to Exist was released on PlayStation 4 in Japan on November 14. It will be released for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam on November 15 in the Americas and Europe.
In the game, the players can choose to play as a Ghoul or an Investigator. Each character has its own unique abilities and weapons that the players will have to master in order to beat the enemies. The key to survival will be mastering your Kagune or Quinque.
A new 4-vs-4 has also been introduced. Here is how Bandai describes it, “Get ready for fast-paced online play with matches divided into 4-vs-4 Ghoul vs investigator teams. Challenge your friends and perfect your abilities to see who will reign supreme in a gruesome battle for victory.”
