All the seven legendary have been gathered by the Heroes now they are heading to the Tree of Woe to seal it. They are both are separated path, Luca met with Mauro who challenges him to a battle. Kazuki and Mimori have defeated a group of humans possessed by empty shadow and save them. Mimori asks Kazuki about Hiro and he told her that Hiro is on his way to the Tree of Woe. Alice and Kai show up saying that they are being held back by empty shadows.
Marguerite calls them and reveals that the empty shadows are increasing because of the power of the Tree of Woe it is getting stronger. She told them to hurry up and the world can be destroyed anytime, meanwhile, Luca is in combat with Mauro. Luca draws his card and unleashes Knight Horde from the spell card. He then created two forest bats and do two damages to an enemy follower. Mauro said it is what she has been expecting from Luca and she has been suffering.

Previously on Shadowverse Episode 32
Luca attacks Mauro’s leader with Blood Wolf and Ambling Wraith and he destroys her leaving her with 10 power points. Luca asks Mauro why she wants to fight the battle. She replied that he won’t understand if she tells him since she doesn’t understand herself. Mauro unleashes Priest of the Cudgel to punish the monster that attacked her earlier. Priest of the Cudgel evolves and banishes an enemy follower with 3 defense. After being banished the Blood Wolf vanishes and Mauro asks Luca if he like this world.
Luca said that he doesn’t but he knows that it is worth protecting it. Mauro orders the Priest of the Cudgel to destroy Ambling Wraith. Luca is shocked that all of his attackers have been destroyed in a row with a single hit. Luca decided to get serious with Mauro since she has lost her path. He summons Dark Emperor that ends the battle once and for all. Mauro realizes that there’s always been one answer in her heart.
After taking down Mauro Hiro show up and Luca told him that the battle has not ended since Mauro’s followers haven’t disappeared. Mauro wakes up and reveals that the legendary card alone can’t stop the Tree of Woe. To destroy the Tree of Woe the sacrifices are needed. Mauro said that sacrifice is her and Hiro said that he has never heard anything like that. Mauro said that it is a special job that Leon gave to her alone and she will do it. Mauro ended up being engulfed by the dark powers while screaming that she wants to live.
