Xiaomi had globally launched the MIUI 11 for all their devices, that were using Android 10. We have also received a list of devices in India that will have the update. However, surprisingly, we come to know that the team has been working on MIUI 12 update. It is too quick because the company had just launched MIUI 11, and now we are headed for the next version. This will definitely release Xiaomi from the blames of giving out slow updates.
The development of MIUI 12
The features of MIUI 12 are unknown because it is in the early days of development. No specific reports were revealed. We expect to have quite a lot of improvement from the last version. We hope that with time passing by, we will come to know about more reports through leaks. Mini 12 might be based on Android 11. All we have right now is the logo of MIUI 12.
Revealed features
The features that have been revealed include a global system dark mode support that can be enabled in all third party apps. It will turn the background info black and text to white. It will further reduce the battery drainage and strain on the eyes.

Official announcements have not been made for the update. However, we expect the update to be around the third quarter of 2020.

The phones of 2019 by Xiaomi and Redmi phones will be receiving the update. Some devices include Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 8, Redmi 7A, Redmi Y1 Lite, Mi Mix 2, Mi Mix 2 and 3 and so on.
