Samurai 8: Hachimaruden has got the Naruto fans, and many others extremely hyped. As you may know already, Masashi Kishimoto is going to return next month with his brand new manga. Kishimoto is going to write the story of the manga, while his former assistant, Akira Okubo is going to handle the illustration. This manga has now been teased for months, and to see it finally be so near is nothing short of thrilling. In this post, we’ll be discussing the first chapter of the manga, which we already know about. So, let’s get started.
Before we begin, please note this post will contain official spoilers from the first chapter of the manga. If being spoiled is not for you, I suggest that you stop reading the post here. However, if spoilers don’t bother you, we can get started. Also, note that we did not create the spoilers or leaked them. They’re available all over the internet.
Samurai 8 Chapter 1 is going to have 72 pages! Yes, that may seem like a lot, but that’s just how mangas usually open. There is usually a big chapter first, but that doesn’t mean every chapter will be 72 pages. After the first week, the manga usually gets on a normal schedule, and the chapter length is anywhere between 18-21 pages.
Here’s the preview for the first chapter of Samurai 8:
“The boy made a wish to the meteor
hoping to eat ordinary food, and
ordinary water, hoping not to be
allergic to one of these things,
hoping that he is not afraid of
injections, hoping that he can walk
without crutches, hope that one day
can travel to the universe. But in the end, he only made one wish: to become a Samurai.”
As you can see, the plot of the manga looks very interesting, and I hope that when Kishimoto said he’d make this better than Naruto, he meant it. Are you excited for Samurai 8? Let me know in the comments section below!
