Rockstar Games: ‘Grand Theft Auto 6’ Might Release Sooner Than Expected
Rockstar Games’ GTA franchise needs no introduction, and with days passing by, we are getting extremely anxious about GTA 6. GTA 5 is still going strong, and GTA Online shows no sign of slowing down, so fans are really getting upset over the fact that nothing has been revealed of GTA 6. Many thought that at this year’s E3, something related to GTA 6 would be showcased. However, that never became a reality, but, the most recent update will cheer you up a bit.
According to the update, the upcoming GTA 6 might be around the corner, and it might release sooner than expected. I mean yeah it has already been six years but, we might not have to wait any longer. According to the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar Games’ parent company, the upcoming big releases from the company would likely have much smaller gaps.
Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive revealed that Red Dead Online and GTA Online could serve their customers on an ongoing basing which basically means extending the life of the games which is why the company is in ‘less pressure,’ for the new big projects which ultimately led to bigger gaps, however, to meet this problem and reduce the gap, Take-Two plans to focus to increase their size and put more resources in their development teams.
It is reported that Live-Service games might be shorter as they won’t be adding everything at the beginning, rather they will keep the game alive by adding post-launch items. So, to conclude all this, GTA 6 might release sooner than expected. However, it might come at the cost of the size of the game which I’m sure fans won’t want, especially after waiting for so long.
Experts believe that 2020 is going to be the year when Rockstar Games finally reveal GTA 6 to the public, however, take this with a pinch of salt.
