The Hashirama cell arc has finally reached its end as Team 7 has met their worst opponent so far and were brought to the harsh reality of their lacking abilities. Boruto and the others have followed the Hashirama cells to the land of silence in an attempt to bring it back to the leaf. But things did not go as they planned as they encountered one difficulty after the other up until they hit rock bottom.
This week’s episode has revealed the aftermath of their harsh experience as they have encountered Deepa. A skilled earth-style user whom they can’t even land a single blow against. The best they could do was to turn tail and run for their lives as this took Mitsuki all he had as he activated his sage mode to be able to buy some time and find an opening to escape.
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 168 will be released on 4 October 2020 and will see the detailed training of team 7. The episode will be titled “The training begins” so if you haven’t watched episode 166 yet or if you simply hate spoilers then its best you steer clear from the updates we will be talking about regarding next week’s episode.

Truly feeling inadequate about themselves, Boruto and Sarada have decided to get some more training in order to become even stronger. Currently, the strongest jutsu that Boruto can use is the Rasengan – He’s thinking about training to make it his own and into something that’s even more powerful than before.
Since there’s no other person who can use the Rasengan available, Boruto visits Kakashi. Meanwhile, Sarada begins strict and intensive training to master the Sharingan while being under the guidance of her father. Konohamaru and the joining Mugino have received formal permission to visit Victor’s company and they’ll be confronting Victor directly and figure out his motives.
This will be the latest updates as a new arc starts after the end of an intense Hashirama cell arc. So things might slow down a little as team 7 receives their training. Mitsuki has also headed back to Orochimaru for treatment as the use of the full-powered sage mode has left his body damaged.
Orochimaru is likely to try and train him as well as this seems like the part where team 7 gets to grow together just before they can have another confrontation with Deepa. Since Konojamaru has headed to Victor’s company for more investigation. It is just a matter of time before team 7 is given another mission that will have Deepa, Victor, and team 7 have another rematch and show the results of their training.
