From the recent development of this Anime Ed is on a mission to rescue the children since he doesn’t like the idea of them to be sold. He is planning on tricking his boss Ishigami for his plan to work Edmae is put in charge of cooking meals for the smuggled children. Let’s find out how Ed plans are going down below.
Cynthia and Si-Won travel to Japan and meet with Ishigami as representatives from a fictitious trading company. They told Ishigami that they can get an Arab princess for them. Ishigami agrees with them and they travel to the UAE where Laurent’s gang performs their scripted kidnapping. Clark acting as the prince and Abby is acting as the princess in question. They return to Japan to introduce Abby to Akemi.

Akemi asks Abby to strip and offers 100 million yen. Cynthia rejects the offer saying that she can sell her off to someone in Shanghai. Cynthia did that to convince Akemi to increase the money to 1 billion yen. Meanwhile, Laurent greets Ed telling him that the mission will be complete when he helps Abby escape. At night Ed went to Ishigami and drink together. Ed is planning to take the keys to the room where the children are. Later he asks the security to take care of the CCTV room. Ed decides to help the children to escape.
Episode 17 Spoilers
Ed had a flashback when he was young and Miki taught him Confucianism and it was difficult for him to learn Chinese. Later he remembers that his father Ozaki aided Suzaku Association with human trafficking and he is not part of it. Back to the present, Ed reveals to Abby that he has a new plan of escaping. The next day, Akemi calls Ed for his to be an interpreter for the visitors from Shanghai Longhu-bang. Which is a mafia led by Liu Xiao that started as a subsidiary of the Suzaku Association.
Chen Yao, Liu’s right-hand man, and Ozaki are the visitors and Ozaki takes Edmae job for interpreting. Chen got angry when Akemi makes high demands. Meanwhile, Ed asks his boss Ishigami about the interpreter who took his job and it is revealed that Ozaki is Ed’s father. Edamame went and confront Laurent for setting him up to meet with his father Ozaki against his wishes.
Laurent tells him when the escape operation starts, which he relays to Abby. Ed follows Ozaki to a hotel to give him some answers and to help rescue the smuggled children. At the appointed time, Ed and Ozaki get Abby and the children out and into a van driven by Cynthia. They are following Ozaki’s directions, they get cornered by Ishigami’s group and he reveals that Ozaki tipped him off about Ed’s escape plan. Ed tries to attack Ozaki but he puts a gun on his forehead.
