Here’s the promo for Prodigal Son (1×8), titled ‘Family Friend’:
In last week’s episode, it was revealed that Dr. Martin Whitly, aka The Surgeon (Michael Sheen), did not work alone; there may be a co-conspirator involved with him the entire time. In the same episode, it was revealed that Ainsley’s (Halston Sage) interview with The Surgeon doesn’t go well. It took such a drastic turn, worse than we could have imagined. Ainsley was hell-bent on showing The Surgeon for who he really is. But that bombs and he ends up looking like some sort of a messiah from God who has saved her boyfriend from dying.
Ainsley’s mother Jessica (Bellamy Young) and Malcolm (Tom Payne) had warned her of Martin Whitley, but Ainsley didn’t pay any heed to them. As Jessica and Malcolm are back home, they receive a phone call from someone, who claims to be their father’s colleague.
Again, we will get to see Jessica and Eve confronting each other. As Eve shows up unannounced and wants to get answers from Jessica about their canceled meeting, a lot of the things are revealed. When Eve (Molly Griggs) made her first appearance on Prodigal Son as a representative of an anti-human trafficking charity, people suspected her of being more than that. Let’s hope some light is shed on that soon.
‘Prodigal Son’ airs on Mondays at 10 pm ET/PT on Fox.
