Sony recently announced that they would be offering The Witness, and Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered for free to every PlayStation Plus subscriber. As some of you may be aware already, Modern Warfare Remastered is Raven Software’s upgraded and better version of the original Modern Warfare, and it was a great experience for all the fans of the game.
Thekla’s The Witness, meanwhile, is a puzzle game from the mind of Jonathan Blow. I think this is a great feature available for the fans of these games in particular, but there could’ve been more. Sony has definitely picked these games wisely, and if we do get something similar in the next month, expect them to pull off a very wise move just like this one.
If you’re wondering when these games for March will be available, well, they already are! That’s right. Both of these games have been made available on PlayStation plus form March 5 to April 1. So, if you were looking forward to this and haven’t gotten them yet, this is your time to do so immediately. Last month’s Hitman: The Complete First Season, and For Honor, both did really well, as they are some of the fan-favorite games.
To this point, Sony has been offering offered six free games every month, and out of those, two are for PS3, two for PS4, and two for Vita. Now, Sony improved PlayStation Plus offering by increasing the storage for cloud saves to 100 GB.
