Chernobyl looks like a very interesting show that’s going to hit Sky Atlantic later this year, and fans are already looking forward to it. It is based on the nuclear plant disaster that took place between April 25 and 26, 1986, in the town of Pripyat in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. The show looks like it carries enormous potential. While not a lot of information is available on Chernobyl as of now, we’ll be sharing everything that we know about it so far in this post.
Before we begin, please note this post may contain official spoilers from the show. If being spoiled is not for you, I suggest that you stop reading the post here. However, if spoilers don’t bother you, we can get started. Also, note that we did not create the spoilers or leaked them. They’re available all over the internet.
The biggest question that the fans have on their minds right now is when the show will be out. The answer to that is May 7, 2019. That’s right; we’re under a month away from Chernobyl season premiere. If you’re wondering where you can watch it, we are here to let you know that it’ll air on Sky Atlantic, and also on HBO on the same day.
As far as the episodes go, we’re told that there will be six. Each of these six episodes will be an hour long, which makes up for an exciting month of May.
A trailer for Chernobyl is also out, and if you haven’t watched it already, you should check it out.
The trailer has done an excellent job to impress nearly everyone, and we hope that it lives up to all of the expectations that the fans have built up over the course of the last few months.
