Seven Deadly Sins, which you might know as Nanatsu no Taizai is all set for its forthcoming season 4. Seven Deadly Sins Season 3 aired last year after a long wait, although fans were excited needless as Seven Deadly Sins has been one of the most favorite anime series and has grown twice in size since it started airing on Netflix. So now everyone around is waiting for Seven Deadly Sins Season 4 and whether it’s even coming or not.
Before we move forward, let me clear one little misunderstanding. The Seven Deadly Sins Season 1 and Season 2 aired on Netflix, and afterward, there were OVAs on Netflix which many fans thought was the third season. Hence we are talking about the fourth season. However, it is the third season of the show as OVAs are not counted as seasons.
The production company behind this fantastic anime series have yet to confirm the release of “The Seven Deadly Sins Season 4″. However, it’s confirmed the show is coming back as we all saw Netflix the streaming giant buying streaming rights for the show’s Season 1. Many rumors suggest that The Seven Deadly Sins Season 4 is close to its release date.
The show so far has three full-length seasons, i.e., two seasons +OVAs and this story has already coveered197 chapters from its source manga. There are over 280 chapters in the manga so far and more to come so fans should look forward to upcoming season 4
Although there has been no announcement for Season 4 so we can speculate the show would return in Fall 2019 or Winter 2020. If you care about my opinion, I think the show would return around Spring 2020 although it is just a speculation.
Updated on 10 July 2019:
Fans are waiting for the fourth season anxiously, but they have to admit that it will not be coming anytime soon. However, viewers of Japan might receive the show this year, but for those who want to stream it on Netflix will have to wait for a considerable time. Let’s expect the fourth season to start broadcasting in October this year, as it usually does. Then it will release one episode each week, and it will continue for 24 weeks. Also, there will be at least a two-weeks break during Christmas, so it will further delay the end date of the season.
After completing the broadcast in Japan, Netflix will release all the episodes together. We know that Netflix takes its time before dropping the whole season, but it might happen in April or May 2020, and not before that!
