Charmed Season 2: Release Date, Cast, And Updates

Charmed Season 2

In this post, we are going to talk about Charmed (2018) season 2 release date, cast, and updates. As we all are aware, the show is a reboot of the original show of the same name. The original show was successful as it aired from 1998 to 2006. However, the new show has also got potential as it is being loved worldwide.

Charmed is a CW show, and it was placed on a totally new slot where none of the shows were performing well. Considering the fact that Charmed has performed well, the show might get renewed. As of now, we have not received any official announcement regarding the renewal or cancellation of the show. Charmed is based on three sisters with mystical powers, who realized their powers after their mother’s death.

Now they have to harness “The Power of Three” to save humans from the demons haunting the world. The first season had an average of 0.34 in the 18-49 demo and 1.07 million viewers. So, the numbers are pretty impressive when taking the broadcast time into consideration. I am positive about the renewal, but it is just what I think! If the show renews, then we can expect the show to be released in October next year.

I am expecting October 2019 because The CW might not want to mess with the time of the year because that might be lethal for the statistics. We are still days away from the finale episode, and we will have to see where does it take us! Take a look at the main cast of the show below, which might return for the next season!

Madeleine Mantock as Macy Vaughn
Melonie Diaz as Melanie “Mel” Vera
Sarah Jeffery as Margarita Emilia “Maggie” Vera
Rupert Evans as Harry Greenwood
Ser’Darius Blain as Galvin Burdette
Ellen Tamaki as Niko Hamada
Nick Hargrove as Parker Caine

Updated on 20 April 2019:

The show is supposed to complete its first season soon, with the 20th and the final episode which is supposed to air on 5 May 2019. Recently, the show got a bad news as showrunner Carter Covington stepped down, but it soon turned out to be even better as we got Craig Shapiro and Elizabeth Kruger as new showrunners.

I am pleased to inform the viewers that the show has officially been renewed for a second season. Also, the main reason for changing showrunner was also related to the second season, as the show will be more concentrated towards supernatural powers than the family drama. Hence, someone proficient in that area was supposed to oversee the show. Moreover, the show is scheduled to return later this year, although no confirmed release date is announced yet.
