Mad Men Season 8: Cancelled Or Renewed?
Mad Men Season 8

Mad Men is a drama series which has been created by Matthew Weiner. Lionsgate Television has produced it. The series began airing on July 19, 2007. It aired on the cable network AMC. The show went on for a total of seven seasons, and it had 92 episodes. The final episode of the show aired on May 17, 2015.

Mad Men is still a very popular show. It has won many accolades for a variety of reasons. There are a lot of things that endeared the show to the fans which include visual style, acting, and writing. Among the several accolades that the show has received are 16 Emmys and five Golden Globes. Mad Men was the first basic cable series that won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series, winning in each of its first four seasons.

Despite, the show ending a long time back the fans were still hoping that there would be another season of the series. I don’t like to break it to you but, there won’t be any such thing. Mad Men ended on a very positive note, and I don’t think they should be bringing it back. There has been no news about a possible season, and I don’t think there will be any such development.

The show is set in 1960 at the Sterling Cooper advertising agency on Madison Avenue in New York City. It is later shifted to the new firm Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce, which is located near the Time-Life Building at 1271 Sixth Avenue. The phrase “Mad Men” is a slang which was coined by advertisers working on Madison Avenue to refer themselves.

The series is considered one of the greatest ever television series in history. I don’t think they should bring out any new season. They can make a spin-off or something but, let the original ending. We have seen a lot of series being ruined in the same fashion.
