The psychological thriller TV series You Season 3 is on the horizon, and fans are looking forward to seeing what the creators have in store for Joe and Love. Developed by Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble, the show made its debut in September 2018 and has received positive responses from the audiences.
The production of season 3 was delayed; however, it’s back on track again. Here is all you need to know.
You Season 3 Plot and Updates
The detailed synopsis of the upcoming third season is yet to be revealed. However, it’s safe to assume that You Season 3 will continue from the final events of season 2. Season 2 raised more questions, and fans desperately want to know what follows Joe and the other characters.
Previously, in the second season, we see Joe Goldberg moving to Los Angeles to start a new life. He tried to let go of his horrible past; however, some things never change; he began to fall into his old self routine after meeting chef love Quinn. His behavior gets exceptionally violent, and with a new burning obsession, he gives his all to forge a new relationship with Quinn.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Patrick Gamble revealed that Love’s mother is very much in the picture, and her knowledge about her kids is incredibly crucial. He added that season 2’s finale was created so that they get more room for new stories in season 3.
Adding to the excitement, executive producer Sera Gamble revealed that the team has an ‘idea’ for the imminent third season, which is much too exciting.
In an interview with NBC News, Victoria Pedretti revealed that season 3 would be ‘wild’ and much stronger than the last season. She also teased more tragedy, waiting up ahead for Joe and Love.
In another interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Sera Gamble revealed that Joe hasn’t changed and is still the same person. He needs to learn the lesson that he ‘he cannot just keep looking for the next person to attach his hopes and dreams to that way.’ Soon he will find himself in big trouble.
The latest update regarding the upcoming season is the confirmation that season 3’s production has resumed. Netflix tweeted, “We recommend you stay at least 6 feet from Joe Goldberg at all times,” alongside Badgley’s photo, in which he can be seen wearing a mask that has the message, “HELLO YOU.”
