Game of Thrones Season 8 has had a good start to its final season and the latest episode, fans want to know what’s next. For years, people thought that the war against the Others is going to be the final war.
That didn’t really turn out too well because the war ended in the previous episode, but from what we know, the upcoming events are going to be unprecedented. You’d think that now that the threat of the dead is over, the series doesn’t have much to offer, but you’d be wrong. There’s still so much left in store for us, and the recent leaks that we got suggest that shit’s about to go down. Let’s get into it.
Before we begin, please note that this post may contain official spoilers from the upcoming episodes of the show. If being spoiled is not for you, I suggest that you stop reading the post here. However, if spoilers don’t bother you, we can get started. Also, note that we did not create the spoilers or leak them. They’re available all over the internet.
First things first; these spoilers may or may not be real. All we’re doing is finding them and checking if they could be true, and then relaying them over to you. So let’s get into it. After the Great War, the Northerners rally behind Daenerys Targaryen and the Last War is within sights now.
Cersei must be destroyed. But, it looks like Cersei has a few tricks up her sleeve. As Daenerys sets for Dragonstone, somehow, a portion of Dany’s army encounters the Golden Company. Missandei ends up in the hands of the Golden Company. She is then executed by the Mountain and her head is chopped off.
Rhaegal faces the Golden Company and takes out a huge chunk of them but dies in the episode. Daenerys doesn’t like this and her next plan is to unleash Fire and Blood on King’s Landing; a full on assault with her forces and Drogon.

While the leaks that I provided above weren’t completely accurate, the major deaths and plot points were. It seems that the Golden Company doesn’t attack Dany. Rather, it is Euron Greyjoy’s Fleet that attacks Rhaegal and kills him. At the same time, somehow, Missandei is going to get executed by the Mountain in front of Greyworm and Daenerys and all she can do is watch. The Final War has now begun.
I don’t know when the leaks for the next episode will be out, but I know that Daenerys will bring fire and blood to King’s Landing now. This could very well head towards the Mad Queen Dany plot, which I would hate. However, at this point, it looks like the writers are indeed going that way.
