Black Mirror Season 5: Does The New Cast Fit In Such A Show?

Black Mirror Season 5

In this post, we are going to discuss the impact of the cast overhaul in the fifth season of Black Mirror. We know that the show has won many awards, including Emmy. The anthology series never settles on something we would expect, as it always has everything we would never even think about.

They always have us entangled with the imagination of the future, and the influence of the technology is having on our lives. Also, their creativity brought us the first ever interactive film, Bandersnatch, with five different possible endings. That film caused the delay we are experiencing for the fifth season.

However, the fifth season has a new cast, and we need to know whether the cast will do justice to such a reputed show or not. First of all, let me tell you that the cast members include – Anthony Mackie, Miley Cyrus, Andrew Scott, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Topher Grace, Madison Davenport, Damson Idris, Nicole Beharie, Ludi Lin, Pom Klementieff, and Angourie Rice.

As the cast is new, but the majority of them are well experienced and capable of doing such roles. Miley Cyrus, Anthony Mackie, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II are famous faces, and the others are also known for their work. Thus, their involvement in the show itself means a lot and will allure fans to see their favorite stars being a part of Black Mirror.

We will have to see what roles do they have to play, and what the story is about. If the story is interesting, and the acting would be average, then I would be very disappointed. Nonetheless, it is less likely to be the case, as we know that Charlie Brooker will never let the new season come out until he is satisfied with all the aspects.

Hence, we would like to appeal that just stop doubting about the next season, and believe in Charlie Brooker, who has made numerous efforts to bring such a show to us and keep it going. So, do not forget to watch the show when it premieres on 5 June 2019 on Netflix. Take a look at the trailer below, if you have not seen it yet!
