What are the New Skins coming with Overwatch Anniversary 2020 event?
The Overwatch anniversary event will be big just like the other anniversary events, and according to the latest updates, this years’ event will be a bit interesting, and fans will get a lot of new coll items and rewards, so it’s better to plan out earlier about your approach.
A lot of new unique skins will be making its way to the game, and as of now, the officially confirmed skins include Dragoon Mercy skin, Huitzilopochtli Zenyatta skin, Little Red Ashe and Masquerade Reaper skin. From the official looks, all these skins are fantastic and they rightfully deserve to sit in the Legendary tier costumes, and if reports are true, then the players will have a lot more awesome skins that will be released throughout the event.
According to a popular leak regarding the anniversary event, other awesome costumes that will be included are Masked Man McCree, Carbon Fiber Sigma, and Fleur de Lis Widowmaker skins. All of the theses will be in the Epic tier costumes, and all of the skins are said to have been created from a fresh angle, so these should be in your bucket list along with other cool items when you jump back into the game.
The epic skins can be acquired depending on the players’ performance in the event. Players will have to win 9 games each week (for 3 weeks) to unlock the skins.
First Week: Carbon Fiber Sigma (Epic Skin)
Second Week: Fleur de Lis Widowmaker (Epic Skin)
Third Week: Masked Man McCree (Epic Skin)
Why is the new event so special?
The latest anniversary event is special, and according to a recent leak, players will be able to relive all the thrill of previous seasonal brawls in the Arcade, and it will have a special brawl of the day, that will change throughout the event.
According to the latest updates, no new modes will be introduced, so that will be a bit disappointed, however, we know that Overwatch 2 is on the horizon, so this might be the perfect way to relive the game and all of the previous awesomeness before you dive into the second installment, which is expected to release later this year.
The new Overwatch Anniversary event went live on 19th May 2020 (Tuesday) and has already begun before the actual anniversary date (24th May), and according to the official update, the anniversary event will be staying till June 9, 2020.
