One Piece returned today after a two-week break, and I think the chapter was worth every bit of wait we had to endure. Eiichiro Oda outdid himself with the outstanding storytelling that he did in the chapter and now I’m more hyped than before for what’s to come. One Piece 944 is going to be very special for more than one reason and we’ll be discussing that in this post down below. So, let’s get started!

In the previous chapter, we saw what SMILEs truly were and how Orochi and Kaido made use of it. I think everyone agrees that it was a heinous secret that was revealed and I hope that Orochi pays dearly for it. Towards the end of the chapter, Otoko was targeted by Orochi and his men. Just as she was about to be killed, Zoro and Sanji stepped in and they saved the day.
In One Piece 944, we’ll see the two fight together after a very long time. Before the last chapter, the two had not talked to each other for about 220 chapters, which is a lot. To see them argue once again is going to be great. At the same time, there is danger all around them.
We’ll see them fight to protect Toko, and that’s what I’m really excited about. XDrake and Hawkins are nearby, and they were looking for Zoro and Sanji all along, so it is possible we’ll see them fight. At the same time, Big Mom is going to arrive at the Udon Mine Prison, where Queen and Luffy are waiting.
