Mackenzie Crook has added the ideal cast to his show Worzel Gummidge. Crook has given much importance to the British countryside, and now fans are curious to know where the does the writer-director takes his crew to shoot the show.
Scatterbook Farm
Scatterbook Farm is the place where Susan and John come to spend the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Braithwaite keep an eye on them. All the scenes in the Scatterbook Farm were filmed at Valence End Farm, a working farm, outside Dunstable in Bedfordshire. There are elephants, cheetahs, and brown bears in the neighborhood.
Ten Acre Film
The location has been reported to be close to Berry Bushes Farm in King’s Langley, Hertfordshire. The neighborhood includes goblins, a giant basilisk, and boy wizards. The location is around 10 minutes away from the Warner Bros Studio.
The Lane
The opening scene involving Susan and John was filmed at St Leonards which lies between Tring in Hertfordshire and Green Missenden in Buckinghamshire
Earthly Allotment
Crook has introduced Worzel’s love interest Earthy Mangold, who is given the job of keeping the birds away from a local allotment. The veg patch was filmed at Highfield Park in St Albans, Hert.
The Local History Museum
The scene where Worzel meets Aunt Sally was filmed at Wardown Museum and Gallery, a Grade 2 listed building found in Wardown Park, Luton Bedfordshire. The museum has an awesome collection, which includes an Iron Age mirror and the Shillington Roman coin hoard.
The Tree of Tree
This is the tree that Worzel uses to send a message to the Scarecrow of Albion and has been filmed in a location in a car park in Luton.
Bloomsbury Barton Manor
Bloomsbury Barton Manor is the country seat of Lady Bloomsbury Barton which has been filmed at a private house in Watford
Top of the World
Worzel and Green are found at the top of the full in the second episode, which has been filmed in Ivinghoe Beacon in Hertfordshire.
