Update Two: Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Battle Royale will be released on March 10, 2020.

Update One: We have got our hands on Call of Duty Modern Warfare Battle Royale release date, it is known as Warzone, and we got the first information of it in November 2019, we finally have a release month and a trailer for it.

Original Story: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is one of the biggest games of 2019 and had blown up in popularity as well as is the best selling game of this year. It has a lot of content in it and more have been added since the game released a few months back. But what’s gotten the fans hyped is the rumors about the Battle Royal mode coming to the game. A data miner posted on Reddit that he found some files which suggested that a battle Royal mode might be coming to the game.

Nothing was confirmed but now the rumors have now strengthened even more as a glitch in the game allows players to explore what appears to be an upcoming battle royale map. This was discovered by a Reddit user KingBreezoR and reported by Eurogamer. Any player can test this in a private match on the map Vacant. Once it began, you just need to use the free spectating feature and spawn camera to roam throughout the area.

This map (Vacant) set within Port of Verdansk, which is the large Ground War map. With this, you will be able to travel outside of the Vacant boundaries and explore new, unreleased areas in Modern Warfare. Unfortunately, the map itself isn’t a fully rendered version of the battle royale playing area. This isn’t the first this has happened as before another Redditor was able to get an aerial view of the supposed battle royale map, showing off the landscape in slightly more detail.

According, to leaks, the map seems a combination of Spec Ops and Ground War maps which results in a huge map. Activision hasn’t officially acknowledged the glitch as of yet, but it’s safe to assume that they’ll likely address it as soon as possible in order to avoid further leaks. The person who first leaked this is pretty good as many of their leaks were confirmed. Right now nothing has been confirmed but we might be getting some details on that very soon. As for the release date, I think we might be getting it at the beginning of 2020. In January the devs will reveal trailer and probably in February we might get our hands on it.
