Blindspot, the NBC drama isn’t going anywhere after Season 4, the network has officially renewed the show. Blindspot, the drama will be back officially for the final season, before we bid it goodbye. While we may have received news of the renewal, NBC isn’t confirming an episode count. Reports tell us that the final season will consist of 13 episodes, more or less. This news has come as a positive development, given that NBC had pulled it from the duration of May Sweeps.
The news of Blindspot, temporarily replaced in the Fridays-at-8 time slot by The Blacklist, didn’t go well with the fans. On Friday, May 24, the penultimate Season of the show aired. And finally on, Friday, May 31, a two-hour finale episode aired.
Martin Gero, the creator the series has spoken of how the finale will bring the FBI team to Iceland again. It has something to do with the clue that they’re following about Madeline Burke’s planned attack on the Eastern seaboard.
It’s in Iceland that something happens and the whole thing goes 360°. Blindspot generated rating averages under a 0.5 demo, ranking last among all current NBC dramas, while in total viewers (2.8 million). More details are awaited.
