The South Korean pop stars BTS has once again proved that they are the living treasure of South Korea. BTS or Bangtan Boys are a South Korean brand. They have now become the biggest boyband globally and have reached another milestone. According to the latest updates, South Korea’s president Moon Jae-In chose the Grammy-nominated artists as the “Special Presidental Envoys For Generations and Culture” for UN General Assembly. They were further praised for “spreading hope and positive energy.” Moreover, after the news came out, the Army (fandom name) went crazy. The BTS Army has flooded social media. As per the tweets from the official Twitter account of the Office of the President, the Republic of Korea BTS will also attend the 76th UN General Assembly. The event will take place in September. However, this will not be the first time for the septet as they have previously given a speech at the UN General Assembly.
BTS at The General UN Assembly – Appointed As Special Envoys
The band comprises RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. The seven members will reportedly lead the global agenda for upcoming generations, including sustainable growth, and enlarge diplomatic power in line with Korea’s elevated status in the international community.
The group will give a speech at the 76th UN General Assembly to encourage and give hope to young people. Moreover, it was reported that the group would be engaged in other promotional activities regarding the event. All the events will focus on solving global issues such as environment, poverty, inequality improvement, and respect for diversity.
It will be the first time in two years when BTS will step out of the country. Due to the pandemic, the boys were unable to fly to different nations.
