Magic: The Gathering, also known as MTG is a card game, perhaps the longest running ever trading card collectible game that will see the release of the set that follows Ravnica Allegiance. Wizards of the Coast has announced that a brand new signature spellbook is set to be released on the same day as War of The Spark. This signature spellbook edition is centered around the white planeswalker Gideon Jura.

With Gideon dying on War of The Spark, Nic Kelman, head of story and entertainment at Wizards of the Coast said that the climax rising from Gideon’s death will change the game’s multiverse forever. With the release of Magic: The Gatherings 81 st expansion in over two decades of gameplay, the showdown will take place at the legendary plane of Ravnica, as you might know, there is a war against the elder dragon Nicol Bolas, and everything is set up to destroy him, or having him destroy the world. All of the Oath is back, and some of Bola’s planeswalkers are also out on the quest for total hegemonic domination of all the multiverse. Over 120 characters will be on the final novel spanning over the franchise’s history.
At the end of the great battle against Nicol Bolas, Gideon Jura sacrifices himself for the greater good of not having Bolas around. After appearing in the Zendikar block, Gideon’s powers have been drawn from white mana, but the rest of the planeswalkers of the Gatewatch rallied to get this thing done.
Gideon’s death is not alone, many more deaths are ensured, but the most controversial one in the novel will be the one about Gideon Jura. After more than seven years making appearances on the playsets of Magic: The Gathering cards, Gideon takes a final vacation and is honored in the spell book with great cards with new artists such as Path To Exile and Rest In Peace, which is staples in legacy, commander and the modern format
