The CEO of FX Network responded to this by saying that the future of the show rests upon the shoulders of the writers/creators. However, another theory on Reddit suggests that season 10 will have a theme about ‘Oceans’ or ‘Urban Legends,’ which if happened will connect to ‘Roanoke.’
Although fans are hooked to the idea of space and aliens, Murphy revealed that it’s a hard process coming up with theme ideas, and they will stick to their American heart of the show, so you can expect some cool new theme based on that.
