For those of you living under a rock, totally oblivious to the movie Free Guy, it is the one which stars Ryan Reynolds in the lead role and is directed by Night At The Museum guy Shawn Levy. Unfortunately, the movie won’t be available any time soon, thanks to Reynolds’ ultra-busy schedule. Ryan Reynolds has tons of projects in the pipeline; his career has acclaimed and soared financially.
But the highlight of Reynolds’ career is always the comedy genre because he’s always been a funny guy. A comedy called Free Guy is on the charts for Reynolds under the banner of 20th Century Fox (soon to be a part of Disney). This movie is a comedic- actioner, something like Deadpool that will showcase Reynolds play a bank teller living a disciplined life. Next thing you know, he learns that he is, in reality, a background character in a violent open world video game. He’s a messiah go this world that’s in jeopardy.
Joining Ryan Reynolds in the cast of Free Guy are Taila Waititi, Jodie Comer, Lil Rel Howery, and Joe Keery. Free Guy is set to arrive on July 3, 2020. The movie will be released alongside Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s Minions sequel.
Production on Free Guy has begun and from what we know, has scheduled filming from April 2019. More details are awaited.
