The movie is the third installment in the Charlie’s Angels film series that is a continuation of the story that began with the television series of the same title by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts.

The movie is slated for release on November 15, 2019, by Columbia Pictures. The movie originally was going to be available on November 1, 2019, but was moved to avoid competition against Terminator: Dark Fate.
