Haikyuu to The Top Season 2 Summary
Hinata started with no experience with volleyball but due to his hard work and training, he has become the best volleyball player. Hinata is athletic and has an impressive vertical jump, he joins his school’s volleyball club. Everyone doubts his talent he was left behind in everything he spent the most time as a loner. He decided that he has to prove to his team that he is the best player so that they can recognize him as part of the team.
In his third and final year of Junior High, some of Hinata’s friends agree to join the club so he can compete in a tournament. The first day of the official game arrives and they suffered a crushing defeat to the team favored to win the tournament. The third-year student Tobio Kageyama was there in the game. He is nicknamed ’The King of the Court’ for both his skill and his tyrannical play style. Hinata and Kageyama challenged each other to see who is the best and Hinata promised that he will defeat him.
Hinata focuses on his studies and he was accepted to Karasuno high school. The same high school the Little Giant played for and then find out that Kageyama will be attending the same school as him. Karasuno is revealed to have lost its reputation as a powerhouse school following the era of the Little Giant, often being referred to as ‘The Flightless Crows’ by other local teams.
The combination of these two little genius boys Karasumo manages to get its honor back. The duo creates an explosive new volleyball tactic and develops an unexpected but powerful setter-spiker partnership. Those to keeps on challenging each other to reach their full potential and Hinata develops relationships with his first real team. Karusuno has managed to restore its reputation because of those two and make it to the finals.
