Phillip Pullman’s His Dark Materials is an upcoming fantasy adventure series produced in Britain based on the homonymous novel by Phillip Pullman. Produced by New Line Cinema, Julie Gardner and Jane Tranter of Bad Wolf for BBC One and HBO, the show has been approved for two seasons.
His Dark Materials Production Details
It is based upon Phillip Pullman’s three books written between the mid 90’s and early 2000s. The much-anticipated series has captured a fanbase that has followed the novels, after having seen a flop at the cinemas with the adaptation to film of this books under the title of The Golden Compass, Pullman thought it would be better to adapt these series of books into a series. So BBC One and HBO teamed up to make it happen, and we will see it coming soon.

Updated on 18 May 2019:
While the fans are waiting for the last episode of Game of Thrones, HBO has already started finding alternatives of GoT after it concludes. They will have to create a show equivalent to GoT so that they have their void space filled. I think that is the reason they have also released a trailer of the show so that the viewers get to know about HBO’s another grand show is under production. The trailer is linked below, check it out!
While the trailer looks stunning, it is more horrific than the film it is based, which was released back in 2007. Disappointingly, the trailer does not have a and it only says ‘coming soon.’ So, keep waiting for the show, while HBO completes GoT’s run.
