Subaru asks Emilia if the trial showed her the past, and the ruins glowing and he also said he was qualified to do that. He has also passed the trial Bilma, Suwen and others are surprised to hear Subaru talking. Bilma said that if Subaru is not joking he has a great achievement. She also said that they can remove the barrier and she asks Garf about the barrier.
Garf replied that there are no changes and Ram said that it is true that he lied. Subaru said that they must not reach the conclusion fast. Emilia asks Subaru what did he see and he explained everything. He said that it is like there are other more sadistic trials. He said that there are three trials in total and Emilia thinks that there are two more left for her since she has passed the first one.
Subaru suggested that if Emilia allows him he will do the remaining trials for her. He promised her that he will pass them and he wants to be her strength. Garf said that it is better for the princes to go through the trial. He does not want Subaru to break the barrier, it has to be Emilia. They ended up deciding that Subaru will go for the trial.
Subaru went with Ram back to the mansion to complete the trial. The met with Petra and they fight with a lady who wants to kill them. They managed to escape and Ram thinks it is a better option for them. Later they encountered a wolf monster and they manage to take it down.
