So far, the initial impressions of the game have been positive, however, just like any other game, this had its share of problems. Despite getting a positive response from the fans, some of the critics slammed for its violence, but Sony silenced them with their statement which read “The Last of Us Part II is made by adults to be played by adults.” According to Druckmann, the game will portray the cycle of violence and will send a message on how violence impacts live to make the players ‘repulsed’ by some which they are committing themselves.

The Last of Us Part 2 will be released on 19, June, 2020, and it will be available on PS4. The update is officially confirmed by The Last of Us Facebook page

Sony recently revealed the specifications for PlayStation 5 and right after that The Last of Us 2 developer Kurt Margenau tweeted about the possibilities of the SSD can make.

The upcoming sequel will be extremely exciting, and the storyline is teased to be better than the previous installment. Ever since the game was officially announced, fans started their work of digging information regarding the game, and so far, from all the updates out there, it will be safe to assume that Naughty Dog will surprise all of us with this sequel. The first installment in the series made its official debut back in 2013, and it gathered heaps of praise from the fans, and the critics who praised the game for its immersive storyline, visuals, gameplay, and the overall depiction of the characters.
The game became of the best selling games upon its release, and according to stats, the amount surpassed 17 million in 2018. The first installment paved the way for the sequel now its time for the second part to carry the torch and continue its legacy. What is the Story of The last of Us Part II?
The Last of Us Part II is set in a post-apocalyptic US five years after the events took place in the finale of part I, and players will play the character of a 19-year old Ellie, and the story will follow her struggle against a mysterious cult which appears to be bad news. According to a recently leaked rumor, Ellie’s love interest Dina might have been killed by this mysterious cult and Ellie is out for vengeance. Apparently, it seems that Dina’s death took a toll on Ellie mentally, and that’s what made Ellie take such drastic violent measures while dealing with the enemies.
Update 2
After a huge delay for we have final updates regarding the update of Last of Us 2. Originally the official update for the game was set for February 22, 2020, this news was updated by developer Naughty Dog at the end of 2019, combined with a story trailer and our first opportunity to go hands-on with The Last of Us’ hotly anticipated continuation.
Later the company declared a deferred Last of Us Part 2 update to May 29, 2020, with Neil Druckmann saying “We understood more essentially updates are needed more time to bring the whole game up to a degree of clean we would call Naughty Dog quality.” And ongoing reports have claimed that The Last of Us Part 2 prompted continued mash at Naughty Dog as opposed to reducing improvement crunch.
