In the latest September issue of Kadokawa’s Shōnen Ace magazine, it was announced that Tatsuya Ikegami’s manga, “Your Turn to Die: Majority Vote Death Game” (Kimi ga Shine: Tasūketsu Death Game), will conclude with its upcoming chapter in the magazine’s next issue on August 26.

Your Turn to Die Manga
The Your Turn to Die manga is based on Nankidai’s indie game of the same name. The manga debuted in the Monthly Shōnen Ace in 2019, illustrated by Tatsuya Ikegami. The English translation of the first volume was released by Yen Press, with Jason Moses handling the translation.
As of February 2022, three volumes of the manga have been published. Adding to the series, a spin-off manga titled “Kimi yon ~dare mo shinanai kimigashine~” was released on 26 February 2021. This spin-off features 4-koma comics illustrated by Nankidai and Yusuke Higeoni, set in an alternate universe where none of the characters in the story face death.

Each game chapter takes 4-6 hours to complete; time-consuming but thoroughly enjoyable. Although the wait between parts can be lengthy, it also builds positive suspense.
The game’s twisted nature allows you to explore how trauma bonding can be a real thing, making you genuinely care for each character while dealing with the sadness of their deaths. Overall, the game was rated a solid 9/10, and the investment of time in finishing each Chapter and Part is worth it.
