My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising is the second and upcoming movie of the franchise, and we’re all looking forward to watching it already. The movie has already started generating lots of hype, and it seems that it’ll be much bigger, and better than the first My Hero Academia movie, titled Two Heroes, that came out in the summer of 2018.

Heroes Rising is going to see Horikoshi include a new villain that he had originally hoped would appear towards the end of the series. Horikoshi also said that in a way, the upcoming movie could be considered the ending of the series. Of course, that doesn’t mean that the series is ending. We’re sure that there’s a lot of interesting My Hero Academia stuff on the horizon, but for now, all the focus seems to be on My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising.

Recently, a trailer for My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising was made available to watch. Fans’ reaction to this after watching the trailer was mostly positive. There’s a lot of hype surrounding this movie because there is going to be an addition of characters such as Hawks, and also other pro-heroes.

Along with that, it is said that the movie will be set after the events of the Liberation Army arc that we just concluded in the, so we’ll also see a completely different Shigaraki in the movie.

Since the movie will be set after the events of the Liberation arc, there will be some huge spoilers for the anime-onlys. To what extent they’ll be spoiled is unknown, but we hope that Horikoshi doesn’t go too far with the spoilers.
