Matrix 4 is one of the most anticipated upcoming movies, and fans of the amazing series are extremely happy as well as have high hopes for it. This isn’t a reboot. Rather is another installment by director Lana Wachowski. What’s even more amazing is that Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss are reprising their roles as Neo and Trinity, respectively. Matrix 4 Production Details
The new Matrix film, according to Production Weekly, will begin it’s filming in February of 2019 in Chicago under the working title of Project Ice Cream. The cast so far consists of Moss and Reeves, and there is said to be some involvement of Fishburne too. When the film was announced, Warner Bros. Pictures Chairman Toby Emmerich talked about the franchise and praised the fact that the core creators in the movie were returning.
He said, “We could not be more excited to be re-entering the Matrix with Lana. Lana is a true visionary, a singular and original creative filmmaker, and we are thrilled that she is writing, directing, and producing this new chapter in The Matrix universe.” Furthermore, Lana Wachowski said that how her sister Lilly Wachowski helped make it happen more than a decade after their original trilogy wrapped up.
Lana Wachowski said, “Many of the ideas Lilly and I explored 20 years ago about our reality are even more relevant now. I’m very happy to have these characters back in my life and grateful for another chance to work with my brilliant friends.” The movie doesn’t have a release date yet, but we will keep you up to date if there is any news The Matrix 4.
