He was moved into the jail named Shawshank; hence, the name of the movie. After few days passes into the jail, he becomes friends with Ellis Boyd “Red” Redding (this character is played by Morgan Freeman). Red is known to be the medium of getting things in exchange for money or a few sticks of cigarettes. The warden of the jail recognizes the brilliance of Banker Andy, and he uses him for the scheme of money laundering but little did he knew that Andy Dufresne was brewing its operation to get out of this jail and start his own new life in a small coastal village which was in Mexico. This movie is truly a piece of art with brilliant cinematography and outstanding performance by its crew members.
