The past few chapters of My Hero Academia have been very enjoyable, and this new arc definitely has the potential to be the best arc in the series so far. I think the Overhaul arc gets the nod for me as the best arc so far, but looking at how the current arc is going, if it is coming in the same way, Overhaul will have competition.
The last chapter gave us very important bits of information on the Doctor, All Might and Gigantomachia. Now, it’s time we head to My Hero Academia Chapter 222, so let’s start discussing. Before we begin, I want to let you all know that this post contains a lot of spoilers from the previous chapters and arcs as well. There is stuff that you probably wouldn’t want to know if you don’t like spoilers. If you hate being spoiled, I suggest that you stop reading the post here. However, if spoilers don’t bother you, we can get started.
So, towards the end of the previous chapter, we saw the doctor talking to Shigaraki and comparing him to All For One. Obviously, he pales in comparison, and it’s not even close. The doctor goes on to say that he has things ready that make the old Noumus look bad, but that was all for All For One.
Shigaraki definitely doesn’t deserve that, and now, he wants an answer on why he should follow Shigaraki and why All For One chose him. In the next chapter of My Hero Academia, I think we’ll see Shigaraki answer this very question to him. Shigaraki definitely has potential, and he has connections to Nana as well. He wants to create a world without All Might, and that’s what he’ll say to tell doctor as well. At the end of the day, I think both the doctor and Gigantomachia will end up following the League of Villains.
My Hero Academia Chapter 222 drops on April 1, 2019. If you’re waiting for the Raw and Scans of the manga, you don’t have to wait long now. The Raws and scans will be out by March 29, 2019.
