Suits were renewed by USA Network for its ninth season quite a while back. But, with the renewal came sad news. It was confirmed that the series would be good ending with the ninth season. No one can doubt that it was a great run, and it seems like a good time to end the series. Aaron Korosh was very emotional in his statement. He said, “Though I know it isn’t true, it seems like only yesterday USA Network took a chance on an unestablished writer’s very first hour-long script.” He thanked the people for their dedication towards the show. Aaron said that the fans showed a tremendous amount of dedication to stick to the show even in bad times.
Chris McCumber, president of USA Network and SYFY, said that the show had played a very important role in the network’s DNA for such a long time. He thanked everyone involved with the production of the show and praised their hard work.
The first season of the show began airing in 2011. There have been many memorable moments throughout the series. The fans will be hoping that the ninth provides them with many more memories.
The main cast of the series will be coming back for the final season of the series. So, we will see Gabriel Macht as Harvey Specter, Rick Hoffman as Louis Litt, Sarah Rafferty as Donna Paulsen and Dule Hill as Alex Williams. Katherine Heigl will be returning as Samantha Wheeler for the ninth season. We suspect Patrick J. Adams to return as Michael Ross, as he promised he would be there whenever there is appropriate need. What more can be more appropriate than the last season?
The final season of Suits will also be the smallest season of the show. USA Network announced that the series would have just ten episodes. All the previous seasons had more than ten episodes. This is the least number of episodes. The final season of Suits began airing on July 17.
