This year’s E3 event has been excellent in terms of the games revealed and the sneak peek we got to see. Some of the major names in the gaming industry showed up to showcase their upcoming titles, and there was especially one game which really grabbed everyone’s attention and needless to say, fans are extremely excited for it. The game I’m talking about is the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers game from Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics.
The trailer was absolutely fantastic, and it looked extremely fun. Now, there were a few questions raised regarding the characters and the voice cast but, still, it’s Avengers, they couldn’t have screwed this, could they? The answer will be revealed when the team decides to reveal some exclusive gameplay and not just trailers, something the community has been asking for a long time since the first reveal.
Recently, it has been revealed that the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers is going to be the largest game from Crytal Dynamics in the history of their gaming making. GamesIndustry.biz recently conducted an interview with the Scott Amos, Crystal Dynamics’ studio head, and in the interview, he admitted the project to be their biggest.
He revealed that for the Marvel’s Avengers, Crystal Dynamics has five studios working simultaneously which includes Crystal North West in Bellevue, Nixxes, Eidos Montreal, Square Enix Japan, and Crystal Dynamics at Redwood Shores. He revealed that they had hired Shaun Escayg as their creative director, Vince Napoli as the lead combat designer and Shaun Escayg will work on the multiplayer.
With all these big names in one team, Marvel’s Avengers is gearing up to be one of the finest in the history of the gaming industry.
