Shin Hyun Bin, Goo Kyo Hwan, Kwak Dong Yeon, Nam Da Reum, Kim Ji Young, and Park Ho San are all set to star in the new drama Monstrous. Thankfully, all the stars have been confirmed to appear on the show at once. So, we can definitely look forward to further updates from the show. People are more excited as Train To Busan director Yeon Sang Ho will be writing the show. Earlier, it was shared with the media that Vincenzo star Kwak Dong Yeon will lead a new TVing drama. However, now the entire central team has joined the drama.
Monstrous is a thriller drama telling about people lured in by a curse from “that thing” that was not supposed to come out in the world. Moreover, it will tell the story of archeologists who study monstrous cases that have never been heard of. After a village discovers a possessed statue of Buddha, terror and suspense spread among the people. The concept is brand new in the Kdrama world, and it will bring freshness to the viewers.

Monstrous has a huge star-studded cast, and it will surely attract viewers worldwide. Shin Hyun Bin (Hospital Playlist), Goo Kyo Hwan (Jane), Kwak Dong Yeon (Vincenzo), Nam Da Reum (Beautiful World), Kim Ji Young (Sweet Revenge), and Park Ho San (True Beauty) have confirmed to appear on the show.
Jang Gun Jae will direct the show. He received several accolades for “A Midsummer’s Fantasia,” including Best Screenplay at the 16th Busan Film Critics Award. On the other hand, Yoen Sang Ho (The Peninsula, The Cursed) Ryu Yong Jae (Pied Piper, My Holo Love) will pen down the script.
Now that the cast is finalized, the show will begin filming soon. No release date is finalized yet. But the production is aiming to release Monstrous in early 2022.
